So I purchased the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DH HSM Art lens and it is great. I have had no focusing problems and the image color reproduction is outstanding.

Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art
I love prime lenses and I love all my Canon primes. Or almost all of them. I have owned the Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens for years but barely used it. Why? I the images I created with it did not grab me like my 135 f/2 or my 35mm f/1.4. They are ok but I wanted more.
So I purchased the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DH HSM Art lens and it is great. I have had no focusing problems and the image color reproduction is outstanding.

Later this month I will start using this lens on people but I suspect I will still love this lens.
