Canon 5D Mark III

After the holidays I found a deal at B&H Photo Video on the Canon 5D Mark III that I could not pass up, glad I didn't as I see the price has gone back up.

Originally I was going to wait and upgrade my 7D when the new version gets released. But the rumors about the 7D2 made me question whether or not there would be one or not. I felt I needed a better high ISO performer than my 5D2 or my 1D3 because I shoot so many low light events where I can't use a flash.

Ideally I'd like to upgrade the 1D3 but that is way out of my budget where as the 5D3 was only a little over budget. So far I'll just say that the reviews of the 5D3 are not overblown. This is a pretty good camera. Here are a few photos I have taken with it so far.
