[Review] Review: "Face to Face: Rick Sammon's Complete Guide to Photographing People" by Rick Sammon

I personally Mr. Sammon's 'banter' whether it be in his books or DVD's. Some do not but I do. This book as most of Mr. Sammon's books are, are directed at intermediate to beginners.

If I had to describe this book in a sentence it would be: Mr. Sammon's lastest book is attempting to teach us how to 'see' the people we are about to photograph.

While this book has some technical detail in it I really believe that what the author was attempting was to teach us to see the subject and the background surrounding the subject so that we can take the best possible photograph. I know there were a lot of concepts in this book that I had not considered before - but I will certainly try to know.

Could there have been more technical detail, I suppose so but I was satisfied with what I got out of it.

I'd give this book four (out of five) stars.
